The lyrics are very poignant!! This album has the remedy for all of life's problems in song!! This album is pure, holy, uplifting, praise-filled and inspirational. Marvin does it again!! Go Marvin, go Marvin!!! I love that this album celebrates the Name of Jesus and His delivering power. "Here I Am, I'm Still Standing, Here I Am, After All I've Been Through, I Survived, Every Toil Every Snare, I'm Alive, Here I Am"...speaks to God's keeping power through the toughest times of life. I love the ending when Marvin sings "The devil is defeated." I want to run and jump because this song reminds me that I have victory in Jesus and the devil is indeed defeated because of God's love and grace and because He causes me to triumph over my enemies. Praise God for this pure music that is untainted and undefiled, bearing no semblance to the world! God's anointing touches every lyric, every bar, every note, every stanza, every key, every guitar stroke, every percussion, every vocal arrangement...need I say more? |

I love this CD. It wasn't available at the store where I generally buy CD's and DVD's so I thought that the best way to obtain it would be to order it on-line. I listen to it while driving in the car. It soothes me, especially when I am in rush hour traffic in the DC-Baltimore area. I need a calming factor - especially at that time. I would definitely recommend it. |

First, I am a true believer in the God of our salvation. He is worthy and without him we would be lost. Pastor Marvin Sapp has MORE THAN brought us to the next level from the album Thirsty. HERE I AM is the truest form of worship. If you can imagine that the album, THIRSTY, was commercially successful...HERE I AM is SPIRITUALLY SUCCESSFUL.
The songs are much more relative to our daily walk. The title track, Here I am, is a testimony...like ALL of the others.
Forget any negative comments that try to measure which album was better...as with anything...there is GROWTH. GROWTH IN GOD = GROWTH IN OUR LIVES
Challenge yourself...as God is challenging you...to trust and believe...
