Frontline puts out a good product |
|
I always thought that this stuff appeared way to expensive but its worth it if you care anything for you dog. I first tried a flea collar and it just smelled, looked ugly, irritated my dogs skin, and did nothing for the fleas! Finally, I broke down and bought this and have been happy ever since! |

Excellent product - no fleas or ticks on our Golden Retreiver and Flat Coat Retreiver even living in the midwest. Dogs have never had any adverse reactions to this product. |

GREAT PRODUCT but... |
|
I have used this product before, but my recent batch purchase (3 doses) wasn't very effective at all! Apparently according to another review on this product, this complaint is similar? I'm very disappointed about the last batch, it was about [...] wasted.. and I don't think it was an imitation brand either, it came in the genuine box and was unopened. Now I'm a little hesitant to buy another batch for this very same reason. |

It's what the doctor ordered |

Not much to say--vet recommended, appears to work, one only wonders if some of the cheaper (buy'em anywhere) alternatives would work as well... |

New Formula? |
I have used this for years without a problem, but I believe that they have changed the formula, because it quit working a few months ago when I bought my new batch. My vet said that they have gotten a lot of similar complaints, and that long time users have switched to other products. I am now using Advantix which works great, and also is supposed to repel mosquitoes, but there have been some cases where Advantix causes a skin reaction in some dogs, so you might want to try a single dose before buying an entire package.
I wonder if these mail order purchases are old stock from before a possible formula change. |
